Rather than blow my own horn, I would like to use this space to thank the dozens of extremely talented photographers and photo editors who have influenced my work and life. Without them I would not be where I am today. Just to name a few: Richard Murphy, Photo Editor, Anchorage Daily News; Bill Steber and John Partipilo, Photographers, The Tennessean; Tim Muller, Photo Editor, The (Baton Rouge) Advocate; Rodney Curtis, Assistant Director of Photography, The Detroit News; Jake Bacon, Chief Photographer, Arizona Daily Sun. There are, of course, too many to name, but everyone I have met in my journey through my career has touched me in some way, and for that I thank you all!

Job Type Newspaper Photographer

After working at seven newspapers in five years, I have finally found a place where I really feel I am at home. Jackson is a beautiful place to work, live and play, and the unique character of this area make it extremely rich for photography. I am a lucky man, in both my personal and professional lives, and consider it a true blessing to wake up to these majestic mountains every day.
